Full-Time Custodian/Groundskeeper

This Custodian position has a special focus on groundskeeping, as the individual in this position will
maintain the outside grounds of AHA. In addition, this position will have primary responsibility of
cleaning the StarDome athletic fields and building. This groundskeeping work entails snow and ice
删除, 草坪护理, 除草, 对冲修剪, and other tasks required to maintain a safe and well-kept campus. This position also requires interior maintenance work, set-up/takedown of events, and cleaning. This is a union position working a Tuesday-Saturday schedule. Wage differential applies to evenings and weekends.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Snow and ice 删除, sanding and salting of campus
• Mowing, weed whipping and 对冲修剪
• Maintain cleanliness of the school and campus, including bathrooms
• Sweep, mop, scrub and vacuum floors
• Clean windows and other horizontal surfaces
• Communicate with Maintenance Team and Facilities Manager
• Notify Facilities Manager of needed repairs
• Prepare, set up, take down for athletic and special events 

工作资格:

• Experience with snow 删除 equipment (e.g. snow blower, sweeper, truck plow) preferred
• Previous custodian and groundskeeping experience preferred
• Good communication skills and a working knowledge of email and smartphone use
• Able to work independently
• Ability to work in hot and cold weather outside for extended periods of time
• Ability to climb a ladder, kneel/bend/lift up to 70 lbs without restrictions
• Flexibility in work schedule
• Satisfactory completion of a background check

Academy of Holy Angels is currently hiring full-time school bus drivers to transport Holy Angels students to and from school, 体育赛事, 实地考察旅行, and outsourced transportation. On the job training will be provided.

To substitute at Academy of Holy Angels, you must have a valid 明尼苏达州 Teaching License through PELSB.  If you do not have a valid MN Teaching License but have a 4-year degree, you can apply for a Short Call Substitute License through PELSB at http://mn.gov / pelsb /

With a Short Call Substitute License, we will ask you to attend a short training at our school.
